Is it legal for non alcoholic (yet alcohol like) beverages to be purchased from a shop outside it's off licence hours?

In theory YES, but the whole offie section will be closed off and they won't let you in...

Don't most non-alcoholic drinks such as say Becks N/A actually contain like 0.5% alcohol. If so they wouldn't be allowed to sell them to you. As others have said the likes of Tesco's have the whole section blocked off anyway.

Spoke to customer services for the shop in question who said even though it is alcohol free, as it is alcohol related it comes under their beer wines and spirits licence and therefore cannot be sold
