    Hi ,

Does anybody have any recommendations for somewhere to bring the kids over the Easter Break , preferably from Good Friday ( 29/03 ) to Easter Sunday (31/03). I wouldn't normally be asking so early but Amber Springs Hotel & The Maldron in Wexford have both been recommended but are already booked out.

    We've 2 kids , 15 & 9 so although they're not small children we want the avoid the moans of '' we're bored ''.

We're in Dublin and don't want to spend most of the weekend driving so preferably less than an hour away.

    Thanks.

Great hotel! kids/adults swimming pool, kids club running mornings & evenings + the dome play centre next door. The park is just 5mins drive from the hotel and the town centre & Carlow omniplex

Had a look on Tripadvisor and the reviews are not great. You obviously thought it was nice to recommend it ?

Yes I have to say it's a lovely hotel, I've stayed there quite a bit...no complaints here and I'm extremely fussy!

The Whitford Hotel is lovely- just at the Duncannon Roundabout- outside Wexford town. Excellent for kids- lovely pool and outdoor areas.

Or Killane castle on the Rosslare Road- they've tennis courts, pitch and putt and a working farm. http://www.killianecastle.com/ I've heard great things about this place- it's a pity it's too near my house for me to justify staying there!!!!
