Sky remote dead

Hi all, Im not sure if this has been up before but tonight my sky plus remote just died. It completely stopped working as in no red light flashing when i press a button. I tried changing the batteries but it still wouldnt work. I took the batteries out & held down the select button for about 60 seconds then put the same…

Hi all,

I took the batteries out & held down the select button for about 60 seconds then put the same batteries back in & hey presto it seemed to reboot & now it works fine.
I just thought this might save someone having to buy a new remote as it saved me.
