Does anybody know of any decent kings that perform regularly?

Not something I'm particularly interested in but I have seen a drag king performing in The George on occassion so might be worth checking out the George website?

Thanks, I had a look at The George website but nothing is listed. I also had a look at The Panti Bar site and they say they have drag kings but don't mention who they are.

There really isn't much of a King scene in Ireland. In fact, the scene is dominated by men, which includes the drag scene, so you almost exclusively have drag queens. There was one king that used to do a bit here and there but I can't remember the name...

You might be interested in this. Quite a bit of interesting stuff came out of ALAF a lesbian arts festival which was started by a group of women in the early 2000s . A bit of a memory now but still it was great craic.

The Shamcocks may no longer be together but Gringo O Hara can be seen doing the odd gig every now and again on the Dublin scene.

Phil T Gorgeous (Dublin Drag King) is mc-ing a show in the George this coming Friday (18th Jan) apparently, called 'Circus Royale'. Looks like it could be good.
