Hi there. Have a massey 35x that I use to power a log splitter so I put on a diverter valve just left of the lift levers below the seat. I have a feed going from it to a quick release pipe and a return back to left of seat so back of tractor has two spools like a normal tractor.
I removed the tipping pipe when I was restoring the tractor and I want to no can I plug the tipping trailer pipe into the feed lift the arms up to tip trailer then plug pipe out of that and into the return pipe and it will go down itself or if I left it in feed pipe and let lift down would it do it.
Or do I have to search high and low and find tipping pipe that was there already

Do not plug out the pipe when the trailer is tipped as there wil be prrssure in the system...

To confirm; currently you plug in the log splitter and lift the arms to max position to drive it?

Yes that's right. Have to move a lever on divertervalve then lift arms. Then i use valve chest on splitter to move it up down

Does for me anyway. Try it out cautiously

Ok thanks. What size of trailer would it handle

Ya, letting down the lift will drop thr trailer... size of the trailer is somewhat irrelavant, as long as the ram doesn't need more oil than is in the backend of the tractor!
