How easy/hard is it to swap one of these engine? I've changed an engine on a Cortina which was a cinch, but I don't know if it's beyond an amateur to do it on a "modern" car. ps is it easier to take the gearbox out too or just the engine? nothing wrong with the gearbox

Would be as easy to take the box and engine out in one go. The job should be straight forward if you no what your doing and have the correct tools ect ect.
But then again I do this for a living so maybe that's just my opinion.
