Shocked to hear that Tony Greig died last night in Sydney from a heart attack (though one assumes it is related to his lung cancer). Such a surprise as he was interviewed live during the SA series a few weeks ago and looked very well.

Edit: And here's that interview from last month.

Very sad news - he was only 66. An excellent and very entertaining all-rounder in his day, and not a bad commentator either

    RIP

Uniquely had a little bit of perspective from South Africa, England and Australia. Easy enough on the ear, RIP

He always seemed like a nice guy and a good commentator.

And I liked how he always referred to the programme as a 'Telecast', a word hardly anyone uses anymore.

    RIP.

Very sad news. I enjoyed listening to him commentating on Channel 9's coverage.
