Theyre supposed to be better than a rotary brush but you have to collect the dirt after them.
    AFAIK they cost about €1000.

I had a Sweepex that I bought second hand years ago,it was 5ft and had six rows bristles and I used to slide it onto the dung fork which ever side suited and you couldn't wear it out, the muck has to be either slop or dust, if its too doughy it just rolls it into balls and leaves it behind, its ideal for rough concrete or yards as it gets down into holes, and also does a lovely job on smooth yards, the best time to use it is a day that there's an inch of rain falling... you can do a really good finish.
I got a chance to sell it and bought an 8ft Prodig with 11 rows bristles and pallet forks as a special offer at a machinery show a couple years ago and it does a great job, but the bristles wouldn't have the strength or quality of the sweepex

Thanks rancher for good info just bought a sweepex its doing a great job, looks like it will really come into its own in the rain as the sticky stuff smears a bit and clings too much to the bristles yards vastly improved already

Glad to hear that you like it....ideal job for a really wet day when you wouldn't be doing a lot else anyway

Tried the big bale the mud goes around the ends ant forms 2 rows where as the brush mostly holds it in the bristles until you lift it and give it a couple of shakes
