    Loaded up on 41 packets(for friends/family) 2kg shpuds, grand total= €3.69 :pac:

    I seen somewhere that eating to many sprouts can cause blood clots. Is this true or just a load of wind.

    The taste of these sprouts has changed over the years ..........not as bitter nowadays .

    They were 9c in Aldi in the run up to Christmas as well

    Clean sprouts, split in half, boiling water in your biggest pot, dunk them in for a couple of minutes, cool quickly in cold water, leave to drain and bag up - straight into the freezer. Simples :D

    Great to throw a small few into a stew or whatever. Or anybody got any other ideas :confused:

    Cut up some rashers into little pieces and mix them in with some sprouts.
