How often should it be changed?

Not sure if it has ever been changed in the missus's car, have a knocking noise, got the drop links done, noise still there, usually at slow speed on uneven road / ramps, dont notice it at all if on the motorway, have been told that anti roll bar bush's are ok, exhaust seems secure so thinking about gearbox but haven't a clue really, have a lad looking at it today, not sure he has a clue either :(

    05 Megane saloon

    Cheers

Sounds like it might be a worn engine mount.

had to tell without seeing the car, where are you based? nissandoctor or George Dalton would probably be the best men to have a look at the car and advise you on what to do

Gearbox will whine or grind most newer cars have synthetic oil in them and rarely needs changing. We have 02 car with 250k miles only changed the oil in gearbox once.
