    Hi there
I have a promaster h610 and lately it has started running half an hour fast. I have reset it and after a while it jumps forward again.
My local jeweller suggested it needed a service . Would this be right and where is best for this and roughly what price would it be
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated
    Many thanks

    Hi Simply.

That is a radio controlled model so it shouldn't be running fast - the time should sync to the atomic clock every night provided the settings are correct. Perhaps the time zone is off, or maybe the zero positioning needs resetting. You can find technical support for H610 movement at:
    http://www.citizenwatch.com/en-ir/support/setting-instructions/

Just enter "H610" as the movement calibre.

If the problem is more serious, then depending on where and when you bought it, it may still be under warranty. Watches bought in Ireland or the UK are covered by our 5 year warranty. Purchases from outside that region have the standard Citizen international guarantee which is 1 year.

You could contact our service centre for more help. We are the official Citizen distributor and service centre for Ireland, you'll find us listed in your warranty. Tel. 061 472722 - we open again on the 2nd.

    Thanks,
    CALCUL.

I think it was the zero positioning because the hands were all over the place and I don't think it was getting a decent radio signal for the updates. I've reset it all again. See what happens... cheers for the pointer.
