    Simple one guys my skoda the ciggerette lighters aren't working idiot a fuse. I have been told they can be turned of somehow but can't seem to find out.
    Does anyone have any ideas.

    If I'm correct,,on the older models it's something to do with the switch on the drivers door for locking the back windows.
    .

    The fuse on my Octavia kept blowing because of a faulty dash cam so check fuse 1st

    No there all not working what ever is going on.

    What was the crack with the door lock. I have an 08 one aswell and never noticed a thing.

    I'm not 100% clear from your first post - have you checked fuses 26 and 35 in the dash panel fuse carrier? (on left hand side of dash, panel, visible with door open)

    I've never used them before just tryed to plug something in and it didn't work tryed them all then.

    The fuse panel shows which fuse it is and should have a small white pliers on it to pull out the blown fuse.

    The sockets have a limit of 120 watts so if you were using an inverter or something similar then you'll have popped a fuse. Even if you weren't overloading it sometimes fuses just give.

    I wasn't 100% clear in my earlier post - when you open the passenger door you have to unscrew the holders of the cover of the fuse carrier
