polished chrome rusting?

The sand and cement floor screed was put in two weeks ago and our heating wont' be on until the end of January. We have a polished chrome towel warmer and some chrome spotlights already installed. Is there a risk of the chrome rusting as the house is obviously damp?

Yes one of mine rusted. The other ones didn't. Keep them covered completely and they should be ok.

Rub them with an oily cloth (even olive oil will do) and cover them over. Job done.
