Looking for entry level roads bike, budget of 300-500approx.

Have limited knowledge of cycling, all advice welcome:)

Think you can get it cheaper than that.

    Worth about 350-400? Anyone agree/disagree?

looks like it has a tiagra groupset (cant see the shifters rear mech and brake calipers mind), corratec seem like a decent brand as well, id agree that its worth around the 400 mark maybe 500

Looks like the 2012 model can be gotten for a little over 800 new: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=75534

That would most likely be 10 speed tiagra to 9 speed on the one in the ad, so I'd agree that it can be bargained down a bit, but not sure about as low as 350.

cheers for the replies so far...will try haggle on that

    Was also looking at this http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/bicycles/4206991 as I need a 58cm and a 60/61cm

Looks pricey but in good condition and good spec? These are E899 new so 650 seems a little high.

well the fact that its was supposedly bought in september would give it a higher resale than the other bike, but again id be looking at around 500 for that, it has tiagra but is missing the tiagra crankset, only 9 speed as well, nice starter bike though
