help points for mixed bag comp

    lads i know its short notice but just wondering have any of your gun clubs ran a mixed game bag comp. my club is having one on sunday we havent done the points yet just wondering have any of you got any ideas please.

    What species are included? are you going to do it on who can get the most or a quota of numbers?

    we were going to do it on points maybe woodcock would be the highest because there scarce around here and were not going to give many for pheasents. i was hoping some one on here ran something simlar before.

    why dont you throw up what's on the list and see what point system the people here come up with?

    Yeah if I knew what was included I could up points, the problem with points for game is like say a pheasant is 500 lads may go mad shooting them, Not good:eek: we use points here in the county and club, were a mag is worth 500 and mink and fox 1000 and so on. I suggest a quota say 2 pheasants, 2 ducks 3 snipe a woodcock and so on, if your including vermin i would suggest going with points for them, the closest to the quota and most points win?
