I am doing an essay and am wanting to quote William Penn when he said "Right is right, even if everyone is against it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it." I have downloaded a couple of Penn's books but can't find the quote anywhere. Any help?

It isn't from any text and may not even be his.

Note: This quote is often attributed to William Penn, but no authentic source is yet found for this attribution, while many similar quotes are found in many publications by various authors.

Twitch, I was beginning to wonder myself. I have read "Fruits of a Father's Love Being The Advice of William Penn to His Children", "Fruits of Solitude in Reflections and Maxims Relating to the Conduct of Human Life", and "Some More Fruits". Not a damn thing.
