Friends mother just dinged her car and he's gotten a quote of 700 euros to repair it.

Is this a fair price ?

What is the car? It might be cheaper to source a second hand door, and if it's the same colour then you won't need to paint it!

Is that on an old seat ibiza (they had that awful yellow on a load of them)? We got a door fixed years ago and it turned out very expensive. Are they offering to bang it out and respray whole side of car to match colour ? What was the €700 quote for exactly ?

Doesn't look like it'd be its first time getting reprinted.

    What car is it?

    Renault Kangoo.

Quote was to 'fix dents and restore paint'

I'm assuming its over 10 years old? It'd kill me to spend that on it if so.

ouch :( I'd just stick some touch up paint on it to stop it rusting if it was mine. Was the 700 quote from a main dealer or an independent place?

Looks like both doors need to be repaired and fully repainted to sort it all out, I'd expect it to be pricey, not sure if 700 is good, bad or spot on though.

Condrons in tullamore have a 01 in yellow. May not have sliding rear door but front door should be the same.

No guaruntee on shade match though
