My brother is flying over to dublin for a week and we wanted to get in a few rounds of golf. I was thinking of hiring out a set of clubs for the week and came across clubstohire.com. He arrives on a late flight, around 11pm and from what I understand they don't have an actual pickup point in Dublin airport. Did anybody ever use them before and can tell me how it works or would I just be better off going to a shop like Mcguirks and hire the clubs from them.

I used them in Portugal but know nothing about the Dublin service. You pay for the clubs you want - there are a few different price points depending on the clubs you choose - and then you pick up the clubs (in a light carry bag) from the designated point. I don't know where that is at Dublin Airport, nor do I know what time they stay open until. It's a good service, so I suggest you call them and find out where/when you can collect clubs

Thanks Kevin, I was on their website and I think once you have booked their services here in dublin the ground handler contacts you to arrange a pick-up meeting place. Hopefully the late arrival won't be a problem, I'll give them a ring just to make sure.
