    Hi
so tonight I'm almost certain that our dishwasher tripped our switch board,it's now full of water at the base of it and was only half way through a cycle, will the water subside?

I wasn't sure if this was the right forum or not so apologies :o

    thanks

Go to the switch panel and reset it.
The water needs to be pumped out.

Try a different appliance in the same socket to see if it trips
Try connecting the dishwasher to a different socket - using an extension lead if necessary.
The dishwasher might have a drain setting. No need to run the wash cycle
I'd open the the plug to check the wiring is secure - if the plug isn't sealed.

Unplug the appliance when you're moving it or bailing-out. A short-circuit or faulty wiring can be lethal.
