Can you find out details of a court case after it has finished. Like accusations admissions statements etc. If so where can I see it??

    Thanks

Is it criminal, family law, civil what type of case? What court, District, Circuit, High or Supreme.

No one other than parties can have access to family law case, I think a non party will find it difficult to get papers as I think only a solicitor on record can request documents lodged in civil case. In criminal not really sure but you may be able to request copy of book of evidence but don't know to be honest.

If a case was important enough and in the High Court there maybe a unreported or reported judgement on the case available.

Will be difficult to get anything in a DC case, while statements are served on the accused by AGS, there will be no written judgement. There may be a record of the proceedings in the local paper.

Not sure if copy statements can be requested by a non party from AGS.

Of course if a case has not yet been heard any person can turn up in court and watch the proceedings.

Found out about all of this in the papers AFTER unfortunately it may really affect me.
