Fuji S2900 error message

    I recently got a Fuji S2900 camera. Its been working grand, but today when I turn it on it gives a message on screen telling me to turn off/on the camera again. I tried that but it keeps coming back.

    I tried replacing the batteries, using a different SD card and all to no avail.

    Before when I turned it on, the lens popped out a little but no it doesn't. I've googled, but nothing much shows up to help

    I bought the camera in Spain on holidays so I can't exactly take it back to the shop so easy

    Any ideas?
