Live on Fox Soccer, Sky Calcio etc so there'll be plenty of streams knocking around.

Sunderland: Mignolet, Gardner, Rose, Kilgallon, Cuellar (c), Larsson, Colback, Johnson, McClean, Sessegnon, Fletcher.

Manchester City: Hart, Kompany (c), Zabaleta, K Toure, Nastasic, Y Toure, Garcia, Silva, Milner, Aguero, Tevez.

Cuellar and Kilgallon up against Aguero and Tevez. A half fit Larsson who has been woeful in the center of midfield even when fully fit. This won't end well.

    2-0 City.

Comfortable City win but I suspect Fletcher will nick one. 3-1 City

    Disappointed Rekik didn't start again.

    EDIT: wrong thread

Vinny heads one off the crossbar, Yaya hits the rebound straight at Mignolet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Francois is at right back, doing his best to make attacking runs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Mignolet won't be with us for too much longer, he deserves to play for a far better team.

Ooooof, almost a screamer there by Fletch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Stop in play, Zaba's bleeding on his head. Totally accidental kick by a Sunderland player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Wonder what the odds are on another stoppage time winner?

    Is O'Shea injured or rested?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Rested I believe, unless he was injured in the warm up.

Why were the Sunderland fans booing Zabs there?

    Hangover id say.

Anyway we are doing pretty well. Can see us holding on for a draw at 0-0 or 1-1

    Very happy with that.

McClean with his best performance in a long, long time. Sessegnon causing a lot of problems and the team as a whole are doing well getting our wingers into two on one situations with their full backs.

I still fully expect City to move up the gears and win the game but if we keep playing like that I can't complain about the players effort at all.

I think they think he went over too easy when he was challenged by Gardner just after he came back on the pitch.

City looked rattled at the end of that half.

    Johnson & McClean the standouts.

Thought Johnson was hit and miss. McClean was class though

Some ball to Sessignon there by McClean

I don't know what it is but that ref really irritates me.

    Some brilliant defending from Sunderland.

Man. City need some width from full-backs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Dzeko on for Tevez. About time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

If Yaya does one more rubbish shot from nowhere I swear to God...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Gaz Baz on for Francois. 5 minutes or so to save a point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,306 ✭✭✭BobbyPropane

Mig and Hart are the best keepers in the league

    Stick Lescott up front

Good to see McClean return somewhere near his level that he displayed last season.

Lescott on for Kolarov Javi Garcia.

Dzeko can't save the day yet again......Or can he?

What a victory for Sunderland, delighted for Johnson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,919 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Standard crap performance only this time we got punished. No complaints.

We DESPERATELY need to work on our crossing. Poor today.

3 points fully deserved to Sunderland IMO.

Sunderland never got into the game in the 2nd half but did defend very well as a team.

McClean has some engine on him.

Delighted for O'Neill, some people around here were very quick to write him off. A top, top manager for many years with different clubs. Sunderland are at best a mid table to lower half side, O'Neill has them punching their weight, that's all you can ask from a manager.

Nope, I don't use all caps either.

Come on, if you're going to be petty and call out one specific poster at least have the decency not to misquote them :o

Just the same lacklustre City. Lucky to get the win the other day as well. It has to be a virtual certainty now Man Utd to win the league. On probability alone, they would have to lose 3 games or draw 4 and City or Chelsea to win all theirs just for the latter be on parity or one ahead and that is just not going to happen. City are very disappointing this season and lack dimension everywhere, and might be lucky to hold on to a place in the top 4, IMO.
