Paypal account in the my Mams name

Hey Guys,

I have been using the same paypal account for the past ~ 10 years or so. Its my email address and my password.

When i set up the account I did not have a credit card so i use my mams. (lets say its Mammy Mewnow while my name is Witness Menow )

For the past 7-8 years i have been using my own credit cards etc. Normally there is no problem at all. But every now and again I run into bother with some merchants/sites when they see the person buying the stuff has a different name than the account.

It doesnt look like I can change the name on the account. Would there be any hassle setting up a second account using my own cards (they would then be on two accounts)

Should be no bother setting up a new account for yourself. But I think you can't have the same credit/debit cards on multiple accounts so you'll have to remove them 1st from your mam's account and then add them to your new account afterwards. Should be straightforward enough.
