    Hi All,
Shock of shocks......I was told Xmas morning to get myself a TT bike for Xmas by the war office. Needless to say I didnt argue the point with her. Basically what I'm looking for is a 52cm frame (I'm 5'10") but might consider a 54cm. I dont need wheels and for how much use it will get aluminium with carbon fork is acceptable. My budget is maxed out at 350 for frame alone but might stretch it a bit for frame and grouppo etc. Thanks everyone. Now Sufferfest time to move this bloody turkey :D

Reviews aside.................does anyone on here actually have either of these frames and can offer a comment or two comparing them to others?

I'm in a similar situation and also on the look-out, though I'd need a 54/56.

This might be worth a punt for you..... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=92416 .....if you would fit it.
I cannot see anything online to indicate the geometry of the frame, but it looks set up for TT/Tri. CRC may be able to advise

Sell the wheels, grouppo and other finishing kit, keep the frame and you'll easily recoup 50% of the purchase price ?

I was looking online at a felt s22 I think for around 1200€ and flog the wheels/tyres/ultegra cassette for maybe €300. Bit higher than budget but new bike and no headaches? Thoughts?

A used S22 recently sold (Staggs in Lucan, I think) for a lot less and personally, I wouldn't spend €1200 on one, but perhaps they are worth it. Theres a used one on eBay at the moment but I think £795 is too high also. I've seen a few converted to road-bike with drop bars (not sure if they were actually sold like that, or converted?) so perhaps there are others out there. There's also these, but they do look a bit basic/crude (heavy ?) and you'd need to budget for fork headset and seat-tube.

Ya look a bit like a step backwards. Thoughts on b16-full carbon tt with ultegra bits etc. parts upgradeable down the road.

Cheers for that man-I did think about it all right but was worried about fit etc. I saw a lot of threads on here and other forums about the frames and the same models appear regularly. Looks like its time to add to the budget or get someone to help with the BTW.
