The real question is why do some have long hair?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,967 ✭✭✭✭Sarky

Have you ever tried going down on a girl while you had long hair? Gets everywhere, so it does. They're just being practical.

They want to look like boys maybe? But why don't most gay guys grow their hair long then?

I have long hair. OP's post is wrong. A lot of old lesbians have short hair but not really us younger ones.

Id imagine that the lesbians that do have short hair have it that way because they like it . Maybe it's a sense of identity ?

Why do some gay and straight people have short hair, and some have long hair?
And why do some people have no hair at all? I can never trust those ones.

Im a gay guy, I dont want to be a girl, I love having a cock, and I love having cock.

Lesbians have, unsurprisingly very diverse hairstyles, like heterosexual females.

I don't think most lesbians have short hair. I doubt you would notice most lesbians if they passed you on the street.

i saw two lesbians the other day

they walked out of a restaraunt, thought it was just two female friends out for a meal together

then one put her arm around the other one and had a good ol feel of her ass

    was pretty awesome

Sure what of it. Long hair, short hair.. doesn't matter. I'm sure many of the lesbians with short hair are still attractive. If you're not a lesbian yourself then it shouldn't matter.

I know lesbians with long hair, and straight girls with short hair. I feel this theory has its flaws.

Nobody said it was bullet proof.

A lot of Irish women, once they turn 40 and put on a bit of weight, seem to go for a short back and sides haircut. It's not very flattering but I don't think it's they've suddenly come out as lesbian :).

Most obvious lesbians have short hair maybe, but if every lesbian wore a sign stating so, you'd see its alot more equal.

Some do feel the need to have short hair to 'define' their sexuality, comes from years ago when no one was out of the closet, that's sort of how they identified each other.

So many straight girls have what would before have been considered 'gay' hair now though, harder to speculate!

its got nothing to do with sexuality, its dependant on their favoured style and how strongly they relate to their gender identity,am guessing the brains dominant side
also has an effect to,because left is seen as the masculine side [in its extremity, its seen as a theory for the autism spectrum] and the right side is seen as the feminine side, all due to personality differences they affect.

am female and have never had any level of sexuality nor awareness of gender differences and every week have hair shaved almost completely off,its a sensory issue with mine and as a padded helmet wearer hair thats any taller will itch like crazy under it.

personaly know some gay females who have quite short hair, their only reason being is its a lot easier to manage,a great attitude to have,it saves them money and will slowly change societys beliefs of what they think girls shoud be like, scientists say evolution is weeding hair out and in years to come it will be completely gone.

How come people look different to each other and like different things?

That's what I'd like to know.

    Easy question.

Lesbians don't have willies so there is no need for long hair fashioned into reins.

I know a few lesbians. Some of them fall into the stereotypical, short hair, tomboyish style, some of them don't.

*Gasp* Some of them you wouldn't even know they're gay to look at them!

You need to get out a bit more OP

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

No, not at all - your life must be very sheltered if all you can do with it is sit around pontificating about lesbians hair

Maybe the same gene that controls hair growth also controls the "which sex you fancy" bit of you. If it is recessive, you get short hair and fancy girls...that might explain why most men have short hair and fancy girls as well.. I know, it's a well thought out scientific explanation, I'm quite proud of my genetic stuff discovery..

I know quite a lot of lesbians, OP. I'd say it's 50/50 long hair/ short hair. There are WAY more middle aged mothers in rural Ireland with short hair than lesbians with short hair. That I gaurantee. Throws my gaydar right off. :p

And as a note- I have short hair because it suits me. My gf has long hair because it suits her. Same as why most people choose their hairstyles/ style/ etc.

Tis also WAY easier for my GF to grab my head when I have short hair. ;)
