Good Guy Christmas stories

Couple of stories have hit my radar this Christmas, one was neighbouring police forces showing up to give the whole of Newton Police Dept Christmas Day off with their families.

The other (true or not I do not know) a random guy who shows up a Pizza Hut on Christmas Eve, asks the manager how many people are working that shift, shortly after a driver drops in a stack of envelopes given to him labelled 1-20. One for every member of staff he was told. Inside each is a $100 bill.

Any other stories that give you a warm glow.

There were a load of people in a cage ready to be eaten in a well known restaurant in Kinsale Co. Cork. A lobster who was dining in the restaurant bought all the people in the cage, took them to the woods, and let them go because he thought it was cruel.

    Or something like that.

My neighbours were shagging there with the curtains open and I rang them and told them to close them. Eventually.

From my own bitter experience in a similar job I'm betting that the manager pocketed all that money! :(

Whart about my rampant drunkeness? Surely worth a mention? Even in passing?

That story earlier in the month about a New York cop buying a pair of boots for a homeless man nearly brought a tear to my eye, there's a lot of good people out there.

There sure is Defty, trouble is they are often glossed over in favour of all the horribleness that is my drunkeness (among other things).
