Doubt it, you can get a can of Tyreweld from a garage, wouldn't recommend it for a long journey. When properly fixed, fitters might look for extra money if you've used Tyreweld.

if it's a really small puncture, i've used tyreweld or similar before and the tyre company could not find the puncture afterwards.

Perhaps a local petrol station would have it in stock?

Last Christmas I had to get something fixed urgently - can't remember if it was Stephen's Day or the day after but the only garage I found open on the northside was Advance Pitstop on Jones Rd (near Croke Park). Looking at their website, they have places on the southside as well. Maybe they open on the southside as well?

I was sitting in the waiting area for about an hour and, in the hour I was there, they did advise *everybody* to get extra work done that (IMHO-non mechanical mind) may or may not have been necessary. E.G., a woman came in with a flat tyre and they advised her to get new tyres because they were getting bald.

I was in two minds when I left - I decided they were running a business to make a profit and they were not running a charity....

Thanks for the suggestions guys, will try Advanced Pitstop in the morning. Failing that I'll try the Tyreweld and take it handy.

In fairness if the tyre was anyways wearing unevenly or just worn out she could be spending her money on alot worse
