I have a hkc alarm, when alarm is tripped neither bells ring. They do not ring on bell test.Alarm hasn't been used in a while.
Are both bells faulty or does this sound like a board problem.

Have you checked to see if the sirens have been disconnected from the panel?

    Are the strobe lights working?

For the outside bell, the siren could have been manually disconnected from the panel inside the bellbox.

    thanks mr grumpy
strobes are not working.checked wiring and power output on inside bell. inside bell faulty.
have to get the outside bell box off and check if power is getting there.
think both alarms just might be faulty.

Could be. Only way to know for sure is to get up and check.

Did you check to see if the panel outputs were set to unused in the engineer menu ?
Are there lights flashing side to side in the bells ? Was it ever monitored by phonewatch ?

did you open the panel to see if the bells are connected ? Any fuses blown ?
If its connected at the panel then either it's disconnected up at the bell or possibly the wire has been damaged along the way

fuses seem ok, true wiring in attic might be damaged, have to wait for the wind to stop to get me ladder out to check the outside
