Wanted: Garmin Edge 500

    Hey,
    Just wondered if anyone had a garmin edge 500, preferably with hrm and cadence, for sale.
    Or if anyone knows somewhere I can get one for cheaper than €240

    Should of included this in the title. I'm also on the look out for a Garmin Edge 200 if anyone is looking to get rid of one,

    Is it safe to buy from handtec?? Prices are competitive but mixed reviews about them on the web! Do they sell refurbished or new garmins?

    I ordered the 500 on its own on Friday. Waiting for the money to be taken out because I ordered at around 21:00. Will tell you how it goes.
    Also for anyone else thinking of buying from the site, shipping is €15. It still works out cheaper than anywhere else online though.

    I didn't see an option for refurbished garmin's, although I could be wrong.

    Halfords are selling the 200 with €30 off at the minute.

    They are out of stock in most places unfortunately. I asked in the shop in Galway and they said they will be getting stock sometime after the 1st

    The biggest difference that makes people go for a 500 rather than the 200 is that you can hook up a heart rate monitor and cadence sensor to the 500. The 200 is not compatible with either.

    It arrived yesterday. It was packaged well but, it did look like it was chucked around before it was packaged with a small rip in the box and a dent in the other corner. Personally, I couldn't care less about this kind of stuff as long as the product itself is fine (which it is). The box did it's job so I can't complain.

    I'm not sure exactly when it was shipped but I was shocked to see it on the 4th seeing as I paid for normal signed postage.
    But yeah, all good and working perfectly :)
