Whats this business of 'Happy Holidays' slowly creeping in to our lingo? I have noticed it a tad more this year than before

Its always been Happy (or Merry) Christmas/ Seasons Greetings here, so why do some Irish people feel the need to Americanise the festive season with the bloody awful "Happy Holidays" like hello, this is Ireland & we take our main holidays in the summer time, so its not the main holiday season for us, discuss and Vote . . . .

Merry Christmas to you all :))

Pagan myself, but tbh what anyone calls the festive season is their own business imho, Its pretty much the same celebration for all which some differences depending on your reiligon or culture.
Id make more of a big thing of the winter solstice than most, as well as xmas and new years, each to their own seasonal traditions :)
