You will be dictated on how you live from housing, medicine from big Pharma, any thing that would be considered good for you will be banned such as herbal medicine. Food will fast become junk status with the widespread use of GMO and Chemicals and you will be fed the cheapest. You will never be told the proper ingredients of food products irrespective of how harmful it is. Free speech will be restricted. You will have to depend on the official main stream media story. Democracy will be an illusion, wide spread 3rd world type election fraud.

Link one: The Daily Mail (Known for sensationalism); I'm not entirely sure you read this link either. You talk about it relating to control of housing, I'm reading a story about homeless people being temporarily put up in customised shiiping containers

Link 2: The Independent (Very tabloidy); Nothing wrong with wanting to licence off-the-shelf medicine. I'd rather SOMEONE be able to monitor what quacks are trying to sell.

Sadly, you didn't provide a link about your GMOs and Chemicals. As a scientist, this makes me sad Unsupported arguments don't work in my field of study.
