Does this dish arm look correctly fitted?

I wonder was the dish arm put on incorrectly by the previous owner as I couldn't get any signal quality only 85% signal intensity on Badr4 and 7.3W
Images posted again further down as attachment wouldn't open.

    Your images are not viewable.
You need a mimimum of 1 meter dish to pick up anything on Badr4 @ 26 east and I can't sat if I've ever picked anything from 7W even with an 80 cm dish.
    Happy Christmas.

From all the pics you've posted of the dish (here & the other thread), it looks to be assembled correctly. Without a reference picture, we can't be sure.

Can't tell from the photos if the dish is still within spec: it could be bent & twisted every which way. Wouldn't take much to ruin it.

It's been mentioned already that a big dish needs very precise alignment.

It got a small tap on one side and under where the arm is attached. I will send more photos with the flash either late tonight or early in the morning without it. :) Happy Christmas Ronnie.

I wonder would Peter Rhea know if the dish arm is on correctly? I don't see why the dish wouldn't be able to focus a signal, I'll try again, elevation accuracy won't be easy for me. :)

It's probably best he answers himself but I'd be fairly sure that both Ronnie or Peter would have EQUAL experience :)

Well, I am afraid that I won't be able to try my dish for a while as a huge gust just blew it backwards off its base even though it was filled with concrete and loads of blocks and concreted to the base. A few dents but otherwise okay. I don't know how I will be able to lift the barrel now, think I will treat myself and just buy a new 1.25 Metre dish along with a new LNB with my Christmas money and try to receive those satellites using a two or two and a half inch mast to hold one in place. The destructive power of nature huh! What a wallop sound it made outside when I was in the kitchen. The gust was very loud a second before that.
