Tacx satori trainer slipping when peddling

    Hi all,

I have a tacx satori trainer at the minute, I'm wondering does anyone else have the same issue as I'm experiencing.

There are 10 different resistance levels on the trainer but when I move it to the 2nd and 3rd level it starts slipping when peddling.

I have maxed out all the gears in some workouts and I need the resistance to be working.

Maybe the magnet needs to be changed? I don't know.

God's way of telling you to get out on your bike?

Could it be that the tension adjustment lever at the back of the actual roller needs tightened a bit to create more pressure between tyre and roller. If there is looseness between the surfaces this could cause slippage under load.

That sound like it makes a lot of sense, I must take a look at it, cheers for that.

This, or the tyre itself needs inflating. It's normally the tyre when it happens to me.

I have just checked the tension on the fly wheel and it was very slack, so it's tightened up and will be checked on boxing day.... I do pump up the tyres every week so thanks for the reply Max_Charger, taking a few beers now so happy Xmas to all at Boards. Slan
