Netflix have an hour long video of a log fire crackling and burning.

Hook the laptop up to the telly and watch " Fireplace For Your Home" to ridicule and laugh at the inanity of such an idea .

Leave it on because you miss having a fireplace and after a few minutes it creates a nice festive glow in the room :o
Also tell no one you liked it and actually left it on. That would be a terrible idea...

If you hate it you'll still get your money's worth giving out about how ridiculous it is.

You know what I found out the other day, that Netflix are removing loads of stuff on the 5th of January. I naively thought content was only added and never taken off (doh!). So people should check if there's anything they wanted to catch up that it's not coming off soon, (it says under the content's description), I was so annoyed I even hassled them on Facebook about it

    Nice fireplace though :D

Netflix add and remove content every day of the week. Most of the stuff they remove they add back a month later, the cynic in me believes that this is down to th trying to say that they add loads more content than they do but it could also be down to contracts and rights.

Getting pissed off with Netflix recently. Content is poor enough. American selection much better but it's another fiver a month. It all adds up. Might start to look for an alternative after Xmas.

The Irish store has a hell of a lot of great content and I cannot understand this constant whining from people about how poor it is. If you want a wider selection then subscribe to one of the many services that allows you to access the world wide stores. I pay about 11 euro a month all in and for the price you will not get any other content provider that offers so much.

How is an extra fiver a month?

Yeah its great for the price, the price being key. If it was 20 euro a month I would expect newer stuff and a few dvd releases, but for 6 euros the range is pretty good (I would love if we could get the US range of stuff over here, maybe one day !)

Another thing is its great for is older movies you might want to watch again, but are pricy on DVD and are rarely shown on TV.

On topic, im sure you can find one of these log fire vids on youtube if you can't stretch to netflix !!

For anyone with Sky, you can get it on anytime plus too,
However you need to connect your skybox to the internet via ethernet cable.

Oh wait, I believe they call it "on demand" now

    Check out here http://www.sky.com/mysky/makethemost/on-demand/

You can get 14 minutes of the log fire on the regular "on demand" (formerly known as sky anytime), no need to connect to the internet.

Check out "Christmas Scenes" on the On Demand list.

It's called Fireplace for Your Home. It's in the movie section under the Festive/holiday/Christmas genre but if you type it in you will get it.
