I want to pick up some dvds to watch for the christmas but I can't for the life of me figure out what to get. I browsed hmv for ages yesterday and no luck. I just came to a blank while shopping. I've spent most of the evening reading the film forum here and still no luck.

Any recommendations for me please? I'm not looking for xmasy ones - like home alone - fcuk no. The best movie I've seen this year is not yeadt out on dvd - skyfall.

I actually, honest to god don't know what to pick up on dvd to watch.
    - I'm in the mood for some Irish drama though but then I have family who are very fussy and they're not going to like that.

Looking forward to a film Christmas Night. A girl called Debbie goes to Dallas and seemingly "does" it. I think it's a movie about a struggle between society and the modern women, should be great.

"Nalin Palin" and "Shaving Ryans Privates" are amazing. Polital, Educational and entertaining all at the same time.
