Just a heads up, all those fruit and veg for 9c won't be 9c tomorrow, they will actually be 5c. I was joking with one of the girls in our local Aldi this evening about how I bought some of these yesterday for 14c and I felt ripped off, she said to me, "if you think 9c is cheap, they'll all be 5c tomorrow"

This is a bit like '' anything you can do , we can do better ''

Similar items reduced from 19.99 to 9.99 and others from 9c to 5c .

I wonder what items have increased in price to make up for this craziness ?

Yeah, how can they afford to sell these things so cheaply?

Is it that they have a huge amount in stock for christmas and want to clear out all their stock?
Or do they sell carrots, sprouts etc. cheaply as loss leaders, hoping you'll also buy the rest of your christmas shopping while you're there?

Could be both, guess either way they figure they will gain more than they loose from it!

It's a pity there's no Aldi anywhere near me. I think if I was in town I would get some fruit for some homeless people. That is ridiculously cheap.
