    <shrug>

    It's a good mixer for gin.

    I'll give gin a go at some stage.

    I was hoping that someone would have something out of the ordinary to recommend.

    Replace coke for tanora in a black russian might work.

    TBH there isn't too much fancy stuff you can do with fizzy drinks in general.

    I had to google it, first I've heard of Tanora but it dosn't seem to lend itself to mixed drinks.... maybe try a vodka/peach schnapps/cran/tanora sex on the beach? Or throw it with Capt Morgans Spiced Rum and have Super Splits Cork Shtyle? Plenty of ice and it'll go down well.

    Completely irrelevent to Tanora but related to the black russian idea, vodka and coffee liquer mixed with muddled lime wedges and sugar served over crushed ice Caipirinha style tastes like cola Mr. Freezes!

    Theres a guy on here that works in Abbots Ale House I think, he might be able to help

    I heard the guy who owns/runs? the abbot makes a ridiculously tasty beer cocktail thing with tanora in it.

    Have never tasted it but Iv heard about it.

    Nope.
    What you're talking about is Picon.
    It's a French Orange liqueur which when mixed with lager (as is traditional), the result tastes remarkably like Tanora.

    Christmas is over, the Tanora is gone.

    I tried a black Russian with tanora, and I wouldn't recommend it.

    I'll just stick to scotch neat, and trappist beer.
