People washing your car window while you wait in traffic?

I've noticed an increase in people waiting at traffic lights to go down the line of cars giving the windows a good wash and wipe.

Do you give them any money or tell them to go away or what?

I always try give a euro if I have it even if it only takes him 10 seconds to do it with whatever ****e cleaner stuff he has. He's standing around for hours in the cold. His choice I know, but still. I see alot of people frantically waving him off not wanting anything to do with it.

Maybe I'm just a softie. To be fair he does a better job than my wiper does.

Hell with that, washing the windows with filthy water and dirty rag, turn on the wipers full whack and make a game out of it.

I'm usually struggling to clean my own windscreen from the inside while driving with my head poked out the side looking ahead. I hate what the cold does to car windows at this time of year.

Wipers on full blast before they get near the car.

Those f*ckers offering to wash your car in the shopping centre car park are quickly becoming the new chuggers too.

I've no problem with someone trying to earn a few quid by doing it but as long as they ask you first. I hate the ones that just dive on the window, give it a scrub with a manky sponge and then hold their hand out for money.

I used to get them everyday on the route I was driving. It's rotten to be standing in the cold doing it, but I never needed it. I would just hold my hand up and politely mouth the words "no thanks".

I eventually got sick of having a smeared window screen, and turned the wipers on. Guy got very agressive and smacked my window screen and shouted "**** you bitch".
