Fluke dose anyway, that's liver fluke, see other threads here on rumen fluke or ask vet.

Barley straw this area(Nr Tipp) is around 20-23e 4x4 round bale, but be careful, there is a lot of sh1te straw around

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

We always dose for worms and fluke with albex.

North Wexford there are 4x4 bales of barley straw freely available at €8 to €10 per bale

All suckler cows should be treated
    (i) for liverfluke, Tribex @ €80/2.2litres is cheaper that Fasinex and effective against all 3 stages of liverfluke
(ii) TypeII stomach worms - ivermectin pour-on and use cheapest one such as Animec,Bimectin, etc
(iii) Lice, and again the ivermectin pour-on will cover this
(iv) Rumen Fluke given incidence this year as confirmed by faecal sampling and factory post mortem anaysis. Zanil only product or failing that Levafas Diamond.

Treat week to ten days after housing

Rancher you must be looking in the wrong place. We bought outs in the harvest at 8.50 a bale and he stores it in his shed. We draw it a load a time as we need it.

Must be, I paid 12 at the harvest, a neighbour is paying €20/bale for 1000bales delivered so I'm not the only one

Won't be able to sleep at night now, profit per ewe could've been €1/ ewe more

I bought big squares of good straw a few weeks back at 25.Regret not taking more i reckon they will get dearer as the winter goes on.

I looked at my beet sitting in drenched fields today and noted to myself that by the time its pulled there will be dust flying off it. positive thinking
