Hey I'm wondering is there any shops like currys etc that sell a sky+ box. Normal definition one if possible. Current one is bunched.

ebay is your best bet, don't think the shops sell them without a subscription.

Surely it's cheaper just to get yours repaired?

Try adverts. Picked up a Sky HD Box for €20 there a while back.

    Nope they charge 100 quid.

I managed to get hold of one off a friend. When we try pause record etc we now get "recording interrupted".

Anyone any ideas on how to fix this?

The PVR functions on a Sky Digibox only work with a Sky Digital subscription, there are third party PVRs available if you only want free to air stations.
