Thought I'd replace my wiper blades and having fierce problems removing the actual rubber blade from the arm. They are Trico blades/arm and the instructions in the manual don't match with what I'm looking at so!

Does anyone know if the actual rubber can be replaced or does the entire arm need to be replaced also??

Feckin thing is bugging me now:mad:

I didn't even know what flat blades were this morning but no, they're not flat blades.
It's the older shape Mazda (07 hatch).

They have a metal backing in them and in trying to remove the entire 'arm' I broke the so called 'easy release' clip so I went off and bought a pair of Bosch blades anyway.

From looking at the Bosch ones I can see how it might be relatively easy to replace the rubber but the original Trico blade looks feckin impossible to work with!

You're better off to just get new blades because when it comes to replacing the rubbers, it's often hit and miss regarding the length and how they fit.
