I need to use a device that connects via serial port. None of the 'working' machines i have access to have a serial port so ive had to use an old PC that used to belong to a friend. Its running Windows 2000, and its been so long since he used it, he has forgotton the password to log on.

Is there anything i can do to bypass this, or what can i do to get around it

    Thanks
