    So from today insurance companies aren't allowed give different quotes based on gender.

    There are plenty of opinions on this already so no need for a big debate etc.

    However I'm with Aviva and nearly have my license 5 years. Previously (including yesterday) I could get a quote online with them no problem at all.

    Now, they say that if your a learner or hold a full eu license for less than 5 years, you must ring them (that includes a full irish) to get a quote...

    Anyone have any idea why this is or experienced the same?
