    Subscription... for razor blades

Sure when all is said and done, its gonna come to nearly €2 per blade. Go to your local Dunnes Stores and buy the card and razor ( 11 blades ) for €25. A lot less hassle for a few cents.

Yeah, alot of followers of DE. I dunno. I get a really great shave off the fusion. 2/3 times per week. the 11 pack of blades will last me over 6 months - not bad for €25. I'm sure if it was one use per blade, i'd have tried the DE by now.

And if you want to have a shaving race, i'll win, without even the slightest nick :D

Whatever about the debate about shopping locally versus online (and the fact that 25 / 11 > 2), I don't understand how physically going to a shop is less hassle than sitting on your arse ordering something online. Particularly if you do go with a subscription, when you never have to do anything again. Seems like a strange definition of hassle.

I take it that a monthly sub would be just that. At most likely a minimum of 8 blades per mth on a subscription. Thats approx 2 blades per week. Overkill in my case, and a lot of others I daresay. I should have made my initial point more clearly.

Oh, and thanks for the math lesson.

If you actually took a minute to /look/ at the bargain alert before jumping in, you'd know that various terms are available, including a delivery every 6 months. But sure your time and is more important, huh? You must need it to toddle down to the shop all the time to overspend on your shopping.

you sign up for the subscription to get it at that price. then once your first order ships you cancel your subscription - simples. the 6 mth subscription is one shipment every 6 mths.

anyway the point of the bargain alert is for those that use these blades - if you don't use them fair enough. a 6 pack of these blades costs around €22/23.

Sorry lads, didn't realise that you could get a deliv every 6mths.

But bear in mind donnacha, that the price I quoted (€25 for a razor plus 11 cartridges) is a good deal IMO, particularly for those who would prefer the bricks and mortar option.
