the heineger is only 0.5kg and 35W and supposidely very good but the huntmaster is 150w and bigger, the equivalent powered 150w one especially for cattle in Heineger is €500 so the huntmaster is good value and 2 batteries and 2 blades worth £50.

If i had to shave the head of a good strong weanling for selling I think id be better off with the bigger Huntmaster model but for lighter trimming id say the heineger saphir is the choice of vets/dog groomers etc for precision cutting... im torn between the two...... anyone vouch for either?!

If you don't intend clipping tails or shaving their backs I think you won't find anything better than the Andis agr clippers. I would recommend getting a ceramic blade as they will last a long time so long as you don't drop it. A lot of vets use them for tb testing and sections

    thanks ottbi and little jimmy,

I took the plunge there today and went for the larger 150w huntmaster one over the 35w heineger one, the lighter one would be ideal round ears etc but the other would be more beneficial if doing a larger area like the face and head of a weanling or tidy up the belly area

he gave me £10 off as ordered on phone nor ebay so£169uk E208 and no delivery and he threw in 3 blades which they sell for £25 a piece so happy enough.

I know Andis and Heineger are top brands but there are good reviews on this one also and the similar size/weight/powered Heineger with the 2 x lithium batteries ect are €495.
