Can you identify this aircraft and what service history did it have with the Air Corps? Thanks

Avro Anson Mark 19, postwar transport and liaison aircraft. Two Cheetah radial engines pulling a wood/fabric/tubular steel airframe. There are two or three flying in private hands worldwide.

That picture is quite old, as it was taken when the Anson sat on a small gravel patch between the new "Hangar 5" as it was known, and the "Heli Ops" building, on the west side of the ramp at Baldonnel. The Anson now is under cover (but subject to a leaky roof and bird droppings...!) in the museum hangar.

    QDM.
