    Why?
Why it over another publication, surely there has to be a reason why an expensive subscription to one mag is justified over a competing publication?

Cycling Plus is worth a look too....plenty of reading, good pictures etc. Do a nice mix of commuting, sportives etc. Used to get cycling weekly, but if you buy them long enough, you'll see the same articles recurring so dont bother anymore.

Bicycling is also good, but not much in it and american focused

Online, two to have a look at are Bicisport, you can buy individual issues or a years subscription and Spin, which I think would be great value even if you had to pay for it but you don't, it's free.

Here's the latest addition to a long list of mags. Only 4 issues old, but is well worth a look imo.

Why isnt there an irish cycling mag? With all the new cyclists and with the holiday route options it could feature! Someone is missing out on this business idea! If only I could edit it myself. H.

Probably because it's weekly and its competitors are monthly;)

I just don't think the market is big enough for a regular print magazine in Ireland. There are a couple of online cycling news sites that cater for the Irish market and I could not see a print publication could ever make enough money to make it worthwhile

There have been 2 in the past 200 years. Irish cycling Review and Irish Cycling News. Both folded due to poor circulation, as Beasty says there simply isn't the market here to sustain one :(
