Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    today i pulled out my sky card from the sky hd box , just to see which channells were still available , i have not done this since i got sky hd in summer 2010

    prior to that , if i took out the card , not only would pay channells disapear , the whole chanell lineup was changed , channell 5 , itv 1 , itv 2 , itv 4 , etc were now on the main dial and it was not nesscessery to go through other channells

    today with the sky hd box , not only was itv 2 , 3 , 4 etc not on the main dial , i was unable to access the other channell facility at all , also sky news and channell 4 were blocked out , i thought sky news and channell 4 were free to air

    The modern Sky HD boxes have firmware that keeps the Irish EPG even when card is taken out. So you have two choices with your box, I.e.

    1. Get a UK FTA card and this will put the UK channel list on the box without any complications

    2. Manually tune in the channels in the "other channels" option as per the stickies on top of this forum.

    when the card is removed , i am prevented from logging into the other chanells facility , i know the codes

    where would i go about getting a UK FTA card ?

    Then I suggest leave your old card on box and then tune in other channels.

    where would i go about getting a UK FTA card ?

    This happens if you have parental controls enabled with the card inserted. Remove any parental controls and it should work with the card removed.
