MBP 'Not Charging'

So my one year old MBP is telling me it is not charging, but it seems to be just holding its current charge, but not charging. I've got the charger plugged in, but there is no activity on the LED light in the magsafe adapter. Is there anything I can do?! Or is it a tedious wait to receive a new one off Apple?

Both ends of the cable are a little rough due to gradual stress on the cable positioned unnaturally, could this having something to do with it?

Would it be possible to maybe even get a replacement off Compu-B or do I have to take this up directly with Apple themselves?

What bad timing for something like this to happen too.
