    Just noticed Crackle on my US PS3 App store yesterday so I downloaded it.
    And it works! Free movies! Selection isn't great but its free.
    Now I do have my DNS settings modified as I would for watching a similar paid US movie streaming site. But I don't know if this is necessary.

    Tried it last night, it was very "blocky" and unwatchable.
    I have 100MB BB(wireless), but Netflix US works flawlessly.
    I'll try it again sometime, just in case it was a once off.
